Its robust steel frame can hold 3 bikes with a maximum weight of 13.6 kg per bike. The total maximum bike weight is 40.8 kg. The FullBack has a unique hub system, around which the upper support frame and bike carrier arms can rotate. With the dials it is very easy to bring all parts into their correct position and lock them. Rubber pads at the supporting points prevent scratches on the car. The bike carrier is fixated to the edges of the tailgate with multiple tightening straps. When not in use, the FullBack can be folded flat for easy storage. The FullBack is also available for 2 bikes. The Yakima FullBack and HalfBack are very similar, but the FullBack includes a few extra anti-theft features that you don’t get with the HalfBack: - Yakima Trunk Mount Security strap, to secure the bike carrier to the car.- Integrated locking cable, to secure the bikes to the bike carrier. Since the bikes are transported hanging, they should have a more or less horizontal top tube.
