The system has been crash tested in accordance with UN ECE R44 and meets the strictest safety requirements. The uprights are made of steel for maximum stability. Components between the uprights, such as drawers, shelves and perforated side panels, are made of aluminium. This makes this shelving system considerably lighter than cheaper, all-steel systems.
