You don't have to compromise on safety, because the car dog crate is crash-tested and approved by the Germany TÜV Süd. The sturdy aluminium frame is covered with impact-resistant and breathable mesh fabric. This ensures your dog has sufficient ventilation, while your trunk is protected from hair, dirt, and scratches. The mesh fabric also protects your dog from bright sunlight while still allowing them to see outside. The door is equipped with a latch and key lock. The latch can be operated with one hand, leaving the other hand free for your dog. The door locking mechanism is crash tested to prevent the door from opening in the event of a collision. To ensure a good fit with the shape of the average boot space, the front and back wall of the dog crate are slightly sloped. You can secure the car dog crate in the boot using the two included tensioning straps. To attach the straps, the Origami has two plastic lashing eyes on the front and two loops on the back. The Origami dog crate can be unfolded in just a few seconds by pulling the central tensioning belt. When the red marking on the belt is visible, you know the folding mechanism is securely locked. Folding is just as quick: simply release the tensioning belt, which then rolls up automatically.
