This Emuk anti-theft lock set is suitable for all car model-specific Emuk towing mirrors and protects your valuable towing mirrors against theft. The set consists of two knobs with a special key, which replace the standard wing nuts. Once mounted, the mirrors can only be removed with the special key. Please note: this anti-theft protection does not fit the universal Emuk Universa towing mirrors.

How does the anti-theft protection work?

1. Replace the wing nut with the anti-theft knob.
2. Tighten the anti-theft knob (tightening is possible without key).
3. Turn the anti-theft knob back a little until you hear a click; the anti-theft protection is active.
4. Remove the key and store it in a safe place.
5. To remove the mirrors, first insert the key into the knob and then turn it loose.

The Emuk holding cords for towing mirrors are suitable for both car model-specific and universal Emuk towing mirrors and prevent the side mirror of the car from folding inward. The increased resistance on the surface of the towing mirror when for example passing trucks or strong wind can cause the side mirrors to fold inwards. This can happen especially if the side mirrors of your car have a low resistance. The Emuk holding cords make sure the mirrors stay in place. The set contains two strong cords, each equipped with a hook and an adjustable slider.

The safety cords are an indispensable accessory when driving on motorways, on rough terrain or in the event of a sudden emergency stop or if the towing mirrors may be incorrectly mounted. The Emuk replacement mirrors are suitable for both car model-specific and universal Emuk towing mirrors and are mainly used as a spare in case the original one gets damaged, cracked or broken. The replacement mirror is suitable for standard use, while the replacement mirror XL is recommended when towing very wide and long caravans or to eliminate blind spots. The replacement mirrors are horizontally and vertically adjustable and both offer a wide-angle view. The standard replacement mirror has a narrower field of view with less distortion, while the replacement mirror XL offers a wider field of view with greater distortion.
