RUD NEO snow chains are so-called tread chains, especially suitable for passenger cars with tight wheel housings. A tread chain always lies only on the tread and the outer sidewall of the tyre and not on the inner sidewall. This makes this type of chain ideally suited - and sometimes even the only possible choice - for cars with tight wheel housings. An additional advantage of a tread chain is that you do not have to put your hands behind the tyre, keeping your sleeves clean. The RUD NEO is manufactured using RUD overmolding technology. Thermoplastic polyurethane has been developed and improved to offer wear resistance and tear resistance at low temperatures and also increases traction.Mounting is simple: The Pull&Slide tensioning system automatically tensions the chain when driving away, so you do not have to get out of the car to re-tension the snow chains. The RUD NEO is equipped with multiple elements to protect your rims against damage from the chain.

Please note:
- Not suitable for SUVs or other heavy passenger cars. For these vehicles we recommend the RUD Centrax V.
- Recommendation: minimum free space required behind the tyre = height of the chain links + 7 mm.
