Pewag Servostar snow chains are so-called tread chains, especially suitable for passenger cars with tight wheel housings. A tread chain always lies only on the tread and the outer sidewall of the tyre and not on the inner sidewall. This makes this type of chain ideally suited - and sometimes even the only possible choice - for cars with tight wheel housings. An additional advantage of a tread chain is that you do not have to put your hands behind the tyre, keeping your sleeves clean. Mounting is simple: first the central tensioner is attached to one of the wheel bolts and then you tighten the tensioner. A control display shows you exactly when the Servostar snow chains are correctly tensioned. The patented Servo tensioning system automatically tensions the chain when driving away, so you do not have to get out of the car to re-tension the snow chains.

Very easy to put on and take off
Very easy to put on and take off, better than the products of other manufacturers that I know of. Very stable, hence the chain case being a bit larger
