What is the difference between a slamlock and a deadlock?
A slamlock, such as the Gatelock Medium slamlock, locks automatically as soon as you shut the door.
Do I need to drill holes in my van to install a lock?
That depends on the lock. The CargoBlock is mounted onto the original mounting points of the door lock, so without drilling. You can dismantle it damage-free and reuse it on another van with the same door lock. The Matador Bull-Lock Oval is installed without drilling using a bracket under the door striker plate. Which van lock fits my vehicle and my doors?
That depends on which doors you want to secure and whether your van has a towbar: Rear doors with a towbar: The Bull-Lock 2.0 towbar lock or the Q-Safe Safeguard. Sliding door: The Bull-Lock Oval, CargoBlock, or one of the Gatelock models. Vehicle-specific for your model: The CargoBlock, for rear doors, sliding door, or as a set. Multiple doors with a single key: The Gatelock Medium as a set of 2 or 3 locks.
Are the van locks in stock?
Our product pages indicate whether the van lock is in stock. Once you have selected a van lock and are on the product page, you can see above the 'Add to Cart' button whether the security locks you have chosen are available from stock.
If the van lock is available from stock and you place your order before 2:30 PM and payment has been received, your order will be shipped on the same working day.
Is the van lock not available from stock? In that case, the expected period within which your order will be shipped will be indicated. This varies per type of security lock.
When the security lock you have ordered is not in stock, you will be informed by email about the expected shipping date.

- Slamlock: locks automatically as soon as the door is closed. This is convenient if you get in and out often, such as in delivery work.
- Deadlock: stays open until you lock it with the key. This means you don’t need to use the key at every stop.
- CargoBlock: vehicle-specific and fitted to the original mounting points of the door lock, so no drilling is needed. It has a patented locking system and keys with a unique profile. You can remove it again without causing damage. Available for the rear doors, the sliding door and as a set.
- Matador Bull-Lock Oval: attached with a bracket under the door’s striker plate and a steel cable, without drilling. The lock is available individually for the rear door and the sliding door, or as a set of 2 for the left and right sliding doors.
- Matador Bull-Lock 2.0: blocks the rear doors or tailgate via the towbar. After the adapter has been fitted once, you can quickly attach and remove the lock. It has a disc lock with drill protection. The distance between the lock and the rear doors may be no more than 70 mm.
- Q-Safe Safeguard: a high-quality towbar lock that prevents the rear doors from being opened. It also works as a trailer coupling lock.

Our van locks are made of hardened steel and aluminium and are resistant to all weather conditions. They are hard to force: the compact design gives a crowbar little grip. Some models have a red coating, which is highly visible and gives a professional look.
