The Yakima HighSpeed is a premium roof bike carrier for 1 bicycle. The bicycle is secured at the front axle, so the front wheel needs to be removed. The maximum bicycle weight excluding front wheel is 18 kg. The HighSpeed is suitable for bikes with a quick-release front axle of 9 mm or with a thru axle of 12, 15 or 20 mm. The special TorqueRight™ ensures that the front axle is always clamped with the correct tension and is never too loose or too tight. The rear wheel is secured with a tension strap over the rim. Maximum tire width is 5 inches, which makes the HighSpeed bike carrier also suitable for a fat bike.

Thanks to the universal fastening method with tension straps, the Yakima HighSpeed fits on most types of roof bars from different brands. For mounting on roof bars with T-track grooves, the SmarT-Slot mounting kit can be ordered separately. The bike carrier is secured on the rear roof bar by means of a key lock. And with the integrated Tailwhip locking cable you can additionally secure your bicycle against theft. The Yakima HighSpeed is City Crash tested and complies with ISO 11154:2006.
