The Rhino TowStep is a robust rear step that facilitates access to the cargo space of your Ford Transit Connect II. The TowStep is only suitable for vans with a flanged ball tow bar with two or four bolts. To use the tow bar, the centre step is removable. Once removed, the rear step offers a very wide turning angle for trailers of 110 degrees. The centre step can optionally be secured with a padlock (not included).
The 182 mm deep treads have a modern design and are made of strong fiberglass-reinforced PA6 nylon. This material offers very high stiffness and impact resistance, even at low temperatures. Slipping is prevented thanks to the strongly profiled anti-slip surface, with large gaps for optimal water drainage. Bright red reflective strips mark the back of the rear step, making it clearly visible to drivers behind the van. The treads are mounted on a sturdy steel frame with a load capacity of 150 kg. The frame is finished with a corrosion-resistant powder coating. The Rhino TowStep is certified by the TÜV Rheinland.The TowStep rear step is available in black or yellow. With respect to parking sensors, there are three different versions:
- Without parking sensors: Most economical version. Generally used for cars without parking sensors. Can also be mounted on cars with parking sensors, but then they must be deactivated and you will lose the sensor function.
- Universal PDC: If your car doesn't have parking sensors and you'd like to add this functionality. The step comes with built-in universal parking sensors, wiring, buzzer, control unit, and installation instructions. The control unit connects to the reversing lights, and the buzzer must be installed in the cabin. This option is also be used for vehicles with factory-installed sensors, for which Connect+ is not available. In that case, please check with your dealer beforehand whether your original parking sensors can be deprogrammed! Note: Advanced DIY skills required.
- Connect+: Only for cars with original parking sensors. The original parking sensors are transferred to the rear step with the Connect+ ‘plug & play’ wiring kit.

Does this product fit my car?
Check whether your car corresponds to the description such as car brand, model, year of build and body type (hatchback, station wagon, sedan etc.):
- Year of build. Example: a product fits on a car model from 2004 until 2013.
